I am sorry as I don't mean to hog attentioon. I really need to know if can take Remeron with Moclobemide (Manerix)? Most drug interaction sites are American and don't carry information on Moclobemide since it isn't available there. Thank you.John

Hi John, I live in Canada and was just on Moclobemide a while ago, unfortunately it didn't work so we scrapped it.
No, you should not take Remeron with Moclobemide.

I don't think that a low dose (7.5 or 15mg/day)of Remeron in combination with moclobemide would be harmful. With higher doses, the risk of experiencing the serotonin syndrome would increase. Concerning the pharmacology of lower doses of Remeron, I know of no evidence that shows that it should interact negatively with moclobemide.
