thankyou for your support. i may very well call the cops. although it just happened briefly and after i specifically warned him not too, i may not. it cwill screw up this guys life completly. get him kicked outa college, and not be allowed back in. it would ruin his life. but he should not be allowed to get away with this. you will be pleased to know that i punnched him in the face and threw him into a thorn bush and very deep snow. but i will way out the pros and cons

You're obviously a decent person if you're considering his future when
he didn't bother to do the same. Kicking his ass like you did should have
some redeeming feelings for you, but he's got no excuse for what he did.
I certainly can't tell you to do x or y, but in your deliberations
consider whether he might have or might still do the same to someone else
that he did to you. Tough call for you and I hope things get better.

thankyou for your concern. u are a very good person to not lecture me on the ethics of pressing charges. but i may just get him beat up or scared badly. either way it really messed with my mind. i just started to give faith to the world again. and as for being sexually assaulted i am no stranger. it has happened two times before. once being raped when i was 3-4 years old. the cops do jack_____ in this town. if i did press charges it would just be more of a hassle for me than him. plus it shouldnt be i know but is embarassing.

Easy for me to say, but forget about being embarrassed here--that doesn't
apply to you. That should apply to police who don't do their jobs. Humiliation
applies to the guy who started it. Treat yourself kindly-- do a few nice things
for yourself over the next few days, sleep well, eat well, etc. There are all
kinds of different ways to work through things. Take care.

Lilsis, it *is* considerate of you to be thinking of this guy's future but I'd like you to think of the future of other women he may try the same thing on. Balance his future over how many other people he may screw up or seriously hurt. Has he a girlfriend? If he does, think of how he's messing up her life. Protecting his future isn't worth it if you consider all the possible harm he may do later.
A guy who tries this once, will usually try it again but the next time, he'll probably pick a weaker victim. I'd definitely report it to someone in authority, even if the police are a poor choice. There's enough women's advocacy groups now who should be able to help.
