Hi,
Has anyone been on Effexor xr and Lexapro?
I have been on Effexor Xr for about 4 months (beginning with 37.5 and currently at 225).
I had one week where I felt great. I wasn't tired, I could get out of bed in the morning and looked forward to exercising (and trying to lose some recently gained weight. That one week was a few months ago.
My PD increased the Effexor trying to find the right dosage, I was hoping to feel as good as I had that one week.
That has not happened and I am falling back, I can hardly get myself out of bed, along with all the other symtoms. PD has suggested I add 10 mg of Lexapro at night.Anyone out there tried these 2 A.D. together ? Can 10 mg make a difference?
There are quite a few AD'S that I am unable to take.My PD says if this does not work she will have to refer me to another doctor.
Help

Go for it lam. Tell us what happens. At least its better than hurting and doing nothing. Something is going to help. Keep experimenting. I want to hear how it goes.

There is something wrong with the site, because I am sure I posted a reply to this.
Anyway, I was going to say that I had a similar experience when I add Remeron to Effexor. I felt great within three days. First time in more than 12 years. But it wore off after about a month. I am thinking of changing from Remeron to Lexapro too.
Let me know how you get on.
