NARDIL must NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!

Posted by ace on January 13, 2003, at 21:51:36

Hey boys & girls,

I'm still on 60mg -- this has made me very happy & motivated, slightly helped OCD, helped phobic anxiety quit a bit. We push it up to 90mg this Thursday. 90mg= more happiness & motivation, no OCD and no phobic anxiety!!!

Nardil is brilliant. Simply brilliant.

What the heck is going on in the USA with Nardil? I assume most of you guys are Americans.

Djmmm even said he ceased it because of shortage. This shortage is ridiculous. Wright/email FDA & manafacturer. I emailed FDA, and they emailed back.

In Australia we have to get it through the UK. But there is a good chance it's coming back in next year.

Let us know what's up with this situation.

bye,bye,

Love,
Mr. Nardil
(aka ace)

Just out of interest, as you seem to like to like Nardil so much, what have you tried previously and how did you react to it?

Have a strange condition : Depersonalization syndrome, with intense derealization and even more intense phobic anxiety. Also OCD and, at times, SP, and moderate depression.

Tried whole host of neuroleptics : mostly made Derealization worse.

Tried Zoloft: Helped OCD very minimally but no other diagnosis.

Tried Luvox, no help, insomnia.

Tried Anafranil: made derealization much worse (probably cuse it has a chemical structure close to neuroleptics.

Tried benzos: help phobic anxiety but not much else.

Some of these drugs were short trials.

They all pale in comparison to Nardil. Nardil helps EVERYTHING extremely. It is the best. Period.

Wow, it sounds great, I wish my psychiatrist would let me try it, even though I know that it won't necessarily work for me.

What does depersonalisation feel like?

Nardil works for 95% of people. I bet it works for 100% but people give in cause of s/effects/time to kick in etc etc. Find a doc who prescribes it -- it is worth it Denise!!!

Depersonalization makes me feel wierd -- as if their is 2 people in me. It also makes my OCD worse when it happens. Derealization makes me feel detached from my normal 'reality based' frame of mind. Best analogy -- wake up in Mars tommorrow with no one but your self. I have deralization 'attacks' with extreme panic symptoms. The episodeic derealization is much worse in the 'attack'. Needless to say it's terrifying and I run. Nardil has worked great for it, and 90mg (which I've started on now, when it kicks in, will kill it 100%. I have a 100% certain gut feeling about this.

Good luck,
Ace.
