Any ideas for panic? I went from depression to panic. Valium doesn't seem to be helping too much. A couple of years ago when I experienced this I tried buspar; no success.
I thinking about going back on nardil (I'm now just taking abilify after dropping lexapro). See
pdoc tomorrow. Only problem with nardil, it limits other choices.Shelli

just because valium didn't cut it doesn't mean the other benzos won't work. xanax works extremely well for me and also klonopin long-term. have you tried either of these? take care, judy

I second the recommendation that you try Klonopin and/or Xanax, if you haven't already. These two have been great for me for panic and anxiety, whereas Valium (years ago) made me feel very uncomfortable.

Thanks, I may ask my doctor. I don't like klonopin--seems to work too slow but I've never tried xanax.

Yes, klonopin does take longer to kick in, but it's more for maintenance. To stop panic attacks right away, my pdoc always uses xanax- it takes about 10 minutes (if it's really bad I put it under my tongue and mush it- sub ling- and it takes 3 minutes). Good luck and let us know how it works for you. take care, judy
