This is just a question that I'm asking out of curiousity. For all you Bi-Polars that were on Depakote at one point in time but decided to get off of it because of weight gain, at what point did the weight gain start to be a real concern?

I gained 17.5 pounds after 3 months use. SO, I stopped taking it.

Yep, that's about where I'm going to draw my limit too. I figured if I gained 20lbs on it, then I'll stop taking it and find something else to take. I've gained around 6lbs so far, but then again, I've been really treating my body good on it. Watching very closely what I'm eating and giving myself a good workout every day. Since I noticed that extra 6lbs though, I've been weighing myself every day and I'm stuck at the exact same weight. So maybe this will do the trick?
