I am interested in anyone who is on Effexor or other antidepressant medications and considering getting pregnant. I was not on any medications for my last pregnancy and it was awful. Please give me some info if you have had experience in this area. Thanks.

I am interested in hearing about your previous pregnancy experience. I am not on meds, but have been depressed (probably more like disthymic (sp?)) off and on for ~8 years, worse these last 2 years. I am considering having a baby, but I am concerned about what my hormone shifts might do to me.

Hi Margot,
I have had a great deal of experience with conception/pregnancy/breastfeeding with meds. Please read my earlier replies to "pregnant" on the previous weeks posts. Please let me know if you want to email and I will share more info with you.
