Is Effexor (or Prozac) an MAOI, or does it contain MAOI?
I just bought nightime Sudafed Sinus and it says not to use it if you take an MAOI.
I just want to be sure! Thanks!

> girlieNo not at all. MAOI means mono amino oxidase inhibitor. Prozac is an ssri = selective serotonine reuptake inhibitor , Efexor is an SNRI = serotonine noadrenaline reuptake inhibitor. SSRIs and SNRIs shouldnt be combined with any MAOIs.
