Didn't the manufacturer of a branded brofaromine product pull the drug from the market a few years ago? If it *is* approved in the United States, any licensed clinician should be able to order it.

If you can't get brofaromine through approved sources, have you considered kava? While their 1998 study focused on MAO-B inhibiting properties of kava, Uebelhack et al found that a kava extract was equipotent to brofaromine in inhibition of MAO-A activity.

Uebelhack, R., Franke, L. and Schewe, H.J. (1998). Inhibition of platelet MAO-B by kava pyrone-enriched extract from Piper methysticum Forster (kava-kava). Pharmacopsychiatry 31: 187-192.

I've informed you about the new policy here regarding topics like this, so now I'm going to have to block you from posting for a week.
