Hi, im currently on 30mg of remeron a night. Its pretty sedating, but im not getting the full sedation and long sleep i want. I lowered it to 15mg last night.
Now i figure, this will give me better sleep, but a less of an anitdepressant effect. Im adding 100mg of 5htp and upping my desipramine dosage.
Does this sound correct? I dont have anymore ambien for a while to help me sleepgeno

How are you going to know which antidepressant is really helping? Try them one at a time.

well i started on remeron 30mg. good sleep, but next day sedated and disphoric in am. my p doc gave me des at night so i wake up not groggy. but my mood is still edgy, i figure i may need a bit more seratonin so added 50mg 5htp. staying with this for now.
NOTE: desipramine works good at low dose, when i up it, i get more of a racing heart and bit anxious.
