Hi Eldon -
I'm 5'5" and weighed between 113 and 118. The odd time I'd hit 120. I've been on Celexa for about 2 & a half months. Over the past 2 weeks I've steadily crept up to between 121 & 125. I'm pretty pleased, although I don't want to gain enough that my jeans & slacks won't fit!!
I'm not sure if it's the Celexa or the fact that my 16-yr old son, who was a major source of stress, is now living in an 'independent-living' supervised home.
My main problem is anxiety & I find the Celexa helps greatly with that.
Good luck. Kath

Remeron, Paxil and most of the TCA's will cause you to gain weight. If you want to become obese, you can take an antipschotic such as zyprexa along with one of those ADs.

Remeron caused weight gain for me. Augmented with lithium I could not get the weight off no matter how much I exercised or how little I ate.
