I was switched from Welbuterin 100mg bid(regular not xr)
b/c I told my pdoc it was doing nothing for me(good or bad)
I did loose 10 of the 20+ lbs I gained from being on Paxil.
I was hoping he would increase the dose or put me on the
XR version, b/c I've heard there are better results with the
XR. He didn't do that but instead switched me to Celexa. The Celexa
works okay for me, much like the Paxil, but I still am unable to loose
the remaining weight. I have not gained any (it's been about a month).
I eat well and exercise with no results. I have always been thin(ish!)
and am really having a hard time adjusting to this extra weight. My question
is what is the withdrawl protocal for welbuterin? When I came off the welbuterin
before I was also coming on the celexa, so it really was not that bad. The withdrawal
from the Paxil was awful. Also is the withdrawal from the Celexa similat to that
of the Paxil? What should I prepare myself for? I really want to give the welbuterin
another shot. Does anyone have any ideas as to why he didn't want to increase the
dose? I think I will insist now.
Thank you for listening!
