My 19 year old son was recently diagnosed with ADHD. He is in need of a great deal of help. Any information from the Orlando area?

Since I live in Maine I'm not much help to you in Florida. However, some ideas...
Go to a site called Depression Central. Browse around there and you will find a list of the best psychiatric hospitals in the country (according to a survey of pdocs). You will also find a list of the best pdocs in the country. I haven't looked at the list recently, but there may be some in your area. It's a helpful list providing names, addresses and phone numbers.
Another strategy is detective work. Start by calling hospitals, clinics, universities, pdocs, etc. Get creative. Somewhere in your search you will find a name mentioned more than once by different sources. Or you may find a pdoc actually recommending another pdoc more qualified for your case. A good question to ask anyone is, "Who would recommend for your own family member?" Just have to devote some time to phone detective work. Though it's like driving blind, it will lead you somewhere helpful. Check out Depression Central first though.
