Back to the Effexor substitute question....

Sorry to bring this up again, but does anyone know of an AD that works similar to Effexor? I know you can't say it will work for everyone, including me, but I'm willing to try. Once again, I was taking 75mg. of Effexor and had to get off it after my blood pressure rose 20 points on both diastolic and systolic readings. I am taking medication for my hypertension as it is. I went on Serzone, didn't like it too much, but now I'm just taking 150mg at bedtime. I have constant insomnia, so I take Ambien too to sleep sometimes. In the mornings, I also take 100mg of Wellbutrin. I don't feel much of difference yet, but it's only been less than I week. All I know is, nothing can match the "happiness" I felt on Effexor. Nothing seemed to be able to "harm" me, and I felt so many positive feelings of well-being. I'm missing that drug quite badly. I have something to compare it to now, so it's hard not to want to "go back!" Dr. Bob, do you have another suggestion? Should I go back to the Cardiologist and change that medicine instead and go back on Effexor?
