FDA approval of Reboxetine... Hopefully soon

Posted by JEN on August 21, 1999, at 6:19:07

I think Reboxetine would be a perfect (or as near to there) alternative
for those suffering from major depressive disorders. Luckily enough I live in the UK
so I can get it easily, but I am thinking of immigrating back to the US so I can get
a job... which will hopefully help to alleviate some problems.. the trouble is that
Reboxetine is not available in the US. What's a girl to do? If I have to go off
it to something else what would be the equivalent? Imipramine? I will not do another SSRI
due to weight gain (none of that with Reboxetine, actually lost weight) and the nausea which I will NOT tolerate. Any ideas?
Also anyone who's come off of this stuff, how hard was it to get off? Not that I'm planning to until I absolutely have to.

Thsanks!
Jen
