Prozac Question

I took Prozac about 10 years ago 20 mg for three months. It worked great. About 8 years later i took it again and no results at all, it made me sleepy and gain weight. I tried 10mg and that didn't work either. I have tried alot of other AD and never got the same results as my first time on Prozac. I wonder about trying 40 mgs. Anyone else had this problem? Any info would be appreciated.

This is my second time on Prozac and like you, it seems to be working more slowly.
I was up to 60mg untill i felt some effect.
I felt a bit shaky on 60 and now back to 20mg and slowoly feeling better. I am Bipolar and in 6th month of depressive phase. There is always the danger of going into mania. Though i would not a wee bit.
