Greetings,

I have finally managed to get a server to allow me to this list.
I saw a 'post' about Meritol on a search engine but the
link to the post did not go anywhere but to a dead link.
I'm hoping someone on the list will remember the thread or prehaps even have the thread.
Any information on the orginal company that made the medication or
(and I understand this is a stretch) the chemical base for the medication would be
greatly appreciated.

I saw a thread here about Meritol. It's somewhere in here. But I think the person who posted it was looking for the same information you are. In fact, I am looking for that information, too. Nothing has ever worked for me like Meritol did. But they pulled it off the market because of a health danger. So, you are not the only one who is looking. I was hoping they reworked the chemical content and put it back on the market under a different name. Sorry I can't help you more.
