Does anyone remember the drug called meritol that came
out about 15 years ago and then was rapidly pulled off
the market? I was wondering if anyone recalls what type
of drug it was and what might be the closest analog available
today. I realize it turned out to be rather dangerous,
but I haven't found anything nearly as effective.

I too had excellent results with Meritol and have been searching the web hoping to find a product which is perhaps a "second try" at the first. I will let you know it I find out. And visa-versa? Thanks.
