HAVE BEEN ON OTHER SSRI'S OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS. ALL WORKED FINE AT FIRST, THEN SEEMED TO AGGREVATE OCD. DR RECENTLY RX'D LUVOX. STARTED 3 DAYS AGO. CAN ANYONE TELL ME SIDE EFFECTS? HOW LONG BEFORE I WILL NOTICE ANY EFFECT? ALSO, DOES A TASTE/SMELL DISTORTION GO ALONG WITH THE PROGRAM? AM NEW TO THIS BOARD. PLEASE HELP.

I'm going to be switching to Luvox as well. Right now I'm on Nardil, which works well for social anxiety, but the weight gain is horrible. I hope Luvox works. From what I understand it's the least likely of the SRI's to cause anxiety and, like Paxil, is more sedating than the others.
