Celexa and OCD

Posted by Steve on June 24, 1999, at 20:24:30

I was taking Zoloft 200 for OCD but discontinued it because of a foggy head and chronic tiredeness. I've discussed Celexa with my doctor and would like to know other people's experiences.

I WAS TAKING CELEXA FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. HAD TO STOP IT BECAUSE IT WAS REALLY BOTHERING THE OCD. MADE ME EXTREMELY "ITCHY"--HYPER/WIRED. TALKED TO MY DR, HE STOPPED IT AND HAS STARTED ME ON LUVOX FOR THE OCD AND ANXIETY IT GENERATES. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL. ALSO THE DR SAID THAT MANY PEOPLE WITH OCD TAKE CELEXA WITH GOOD RESULTS IT JUST WASN'T FOR ME.
