2 years of prozac down from 60 to 20 , with 2-3 months tring other sleep inducers like clonopin, clonidine, "morning " pills
like wellbutrin, cylert, lately resperidone to help sleep, and now this new cocktail.Psychotherapist calls it dysthemia 300, etc, G-d know what the Psychopharmacologist calls it
but does anybody have any experience with this latest mix. And no I don't drink.Latest symptoms till this new mix included swings between mania with sleeplessness to hostility and withdrawal, inability to focus and loss of time management.

YB David!! Anything but Halcion!! Speaking from personal experience, it's effects are great at first, then you may need more and more and more to sleep!! I have been weaning off of it for 6 months, withdrawal from Halcion is nasty.....next month I'll be going in-patient for 2+ weeks to detox from the last .5 mg of Halcion. I wish someone had said this to me 2 years ago!! It's not worth it, it's dangerous!!! Don't do it!! -Shelley
BTW, klonopin is very helpful, and not as hard to kick should you need to. And it's good not to mix alcohol.

I am on ,25 mg halcion tid. well it's been a little over 2 weeks, took a week for the sleep factor to work, to be steady
(defintely out like a light 30-60 minutes after
taking), but then I found myself very listless, preferring the INETENSE REM DREAM STATE to
getting up and getting anything done, plus some friends said I was alittle impatient with them, tomorrow he wants
me to try depacote (sp?) insetad of....
Thanks for the advice, I don't want to be hooked on anything, I want my life bak, F8cked up as it was, at least I knew when I was acting out
because I was being a schmuck and reqcting to pyshologoical history as opposed to medication.Good news, no prozac, got my libido back, now all I need to do is find a wife!

The week from hell. Lost week more like it, sleeping 20 hours a day, nightmares, now he says stop halcion and zyprexa, go depacote and clonapin only - my deadline is Friday for some semblance of a life back or go somewhere else.
Anyone trying this mix?

I have been doing some research on Halcion because of my grandmother's 40 year secret addiction to the drug!I have learned that taken STRICTLY by the perscription and in accordance of a doctor that you have a more than recent history with it does well. If you suffer ANY depression or have heart trouble or diabetes avoid this medication at all costs. This medication has been up for ban by the FDA for almost ten years. Upjohn is the company the makes it and has settled out of court on numerous occasions in trials that have to do with Halcion and it's interactions and overdoses. Be aware that the dosages have been changed several times in the last nine years from varying from 0.25- 0.12mg.
it has been banned in several countries including England!anaisa
