remeron and deprefax for depression treatment

Posted by EDGARDO on January 12, 1999, at 0:17:31

I'm on remeron 15mg and deprefax 200mg from last week. I'm facing some trouble with these drugs: feel sleepy during the day, and I am gaining weight.

What's Deprefax? (I'm in the U.S., and this brand name isn't used here.)

The side effects you mentioned are very common with Remeron. Interestingly, some people say the side effects go away as they raise the dose (15mg is pretty small).

Remeron cause somnolence, so if you´re not taking it when you are going to bed, then do it.
Remeron has caused weight gain to me too.

I am not on deprefax, but have just started remeron a week ago. I found that I had to take it in the early evening for the sleepiness to wear off before work the next day.
