Neurontin & Klonapin

Posted by Kimberly on March 10, 1999, at 9:23:23

I have had much success with these two drugs. Has
anyone else out there tried these for depression, anxiety,
and migraines? Every other combination of medication
has either made me nauseated or has not helped. My
doctor does not like the Klonapin due to the addicting
factors. If I do not take Klonapin w/the Neurontin
I am nauseated. Any suggestions?

Klonopin-phobia

>It is unfortunate that your dr has problems giving you the drugs that you have found to work for you. It takes a lot of trial and error and feeling crummy to find the right balance. There is nothing wrong with taking Klonopin if you find it helpful but your dr's attitude or possibly your dr needs changing. You shouldn't be made to feel guilty about what you take. BTW I take Klonopin for a movement disorder; all the docs I have seen practically throw it at me for lack of better available treatments, but I find it not an easy drug to take. It puts me over the edge depression-wise and makes my head fuzzy. But it is a pretty good muscle relaxant.
