Celexa and anxiety

Posted by beth on February 9, 1999, at 20:52:45

I have been on Celexa for about 6 weeks. I started off taking 10 mgs for 2-3 weeks, then went up to 20. I have noticed some improvement with minimal side effects, however, I can't say I have gotten completely rid of my anxiety. Has anyone else still had feelings of anxiousness? So far I am quite pleased. I went off my medication for 2 days (lost rx while travelling), and I really noticed a difference. I am not sure if it was imagined or actual.

I've only been on Celexa for a couple of weeks, and except for some side effects, I noticed nothing --
Until two days ago. My outlook has improved, it seems, dramatically.
I'm completely without experience in taking AD's though, and I have no idea if this pleasant spell
I'm going through is from the med or just purely fortuitous -- my symptoms habe always been very up & down. I would say that I don't feel strong anxiety. Even when things raise
old concerns, I find it easier not to obsess on them. BYT, I'm on 40 mg. a day (I'm about 180 lbs).

Hope this helps
Tom
