Boy I'm glad this web-site is here. I have a question my dr. can't
really answer. I've been on Celexa for a week now. I
know it can take a while (up to 6 weeks?) for me to
notice any change, but .... what change should I notice?
I have roller-coaster anxiety (and ADD). Should
I expect just to eventually notice that I have fewer
"downs?" Does it happen gradually, or do you wake up one day
to notice a change. Sounds like a silly questions, I know
but I'm not certain what to expect.By the way, I'd appreciate hearing from anyone else with
ADD taking anti-depressants and Celexa in particular. Thanks
Tom

When I first went on AD's the mood first started
getting better around noon time abd each day it a happened earlyer till I woke up in a good mood. I've been in a good mood since '85 with occational periods of break thru depression.j

Well Tom I am on different meds (Effexor/Wellebutrin) and I can say that the gray mood disappears gradually. One day I found my self humming and whistling. Oh yes, someone with full blown depression only 4 months earlier. I did notice it happen in stages, be aware of slight changes in your attitude. Thats where I notice it first.
Another is getting along with people you could not stand.
Good Luck..
Sam
