Adult ADD Meds

Posted by Marlene Brown on January 11, 1999, at 23:37:34

I have been on Wellbutrin but was just switched to Celexa because of the adverse side affects, the worst of which was a loss of motor control in the hands and arms, rendering me severely hindered in my ability to handle my computer mouse, which is critical to my career. I need to find a drug therapy for my ADD, especially that of an inability to concentrate when reading. Celexa may not be good for that, but I am hoping it will help my morbid depression. I am also bipolar, which makes this a challenge. Feedback desired, especially form ADD patients who have found a good match, and even more so, if you are on lithium.

> I am a adult who is Bipolar and am also ADD. I am currently taking Dexedrine for ADD. I find it works the best for this disorder. I have tried Ritalin and found it's not as effective. For the depression I take Zoloft, I have no side effects from any of the meds mentioned.
