I saw the doctor today and she switched me to Effexor. It was her suggestion, though I did tell her that I'd wanted to discuss the drug. I'm to stop the Serzone right now, and start the Effexor tonight or tomorrow. I may opt for tonight, since they don't interact and I want relief fastest-soonest.
Anything to say about starting tonight rather than tomorrow?
And thanks again to both Toby for taking the time to answer my questions adn to Dr Bob for having a board in the first place.

So far, so good, except that I'm not sleeping. Oh, well. My stomach is less upset all the time, and I'm not clenching my hands until they feel as though they'll break. So, I'm gonna start taking it earlier in the day, moving it about 2 hour earlier each day, and see if that helps with the sleep.
But I feel a bit sunnier, which tells me that the Serzone was worse than I knew at the time. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and see what happens. Some of the other problems may still be withdrawal from the Serzone. I'm hoping, at least!
