You might suggest your friend try to connect with a doc listed with this organization: Addult Support of Washington. Their website address is http://www.addult.org

They keep a directory of clinicians who treat adult ADD (which is how I found my doctor). There is also a resource page listing Puget Sound area resources for ADDers.

I had very good luck with Dr. Stephen Barnett out in Redmond. He was very knowledgable about ADD and Depression.

My Dear James,
This is Nancy. And yes I know of a super-specialist in mood disorders, who practices in the Seattle area. I retreived this information by searching; (www.psycom.net/depression.central.html).
The physicians name and location are: Dr. Peter P. Roy-Byrne, Harborview Medical Center, 325 Ninth Ave., Seattle, WA, 98104. His phone number is; (206)731-3404.

I hope this helps,
Nancy
