Prince Charming's Ghost

You were Prince Charmings ghost
Like an entity of hope that just cant be seen

In my dreams I was sleeping beauty
Waiting for you to come rescue me

But I guess dreams arent always perfect
Because in this one,
The wicked queen undid her own spell

My princess gown turned into jeans
And a shiver went down my spine

When you got to my castle
and saw me with short hair,
Already awake, the spell, broken

You looked away,
And then I woke up.
In a bedroom for grownups.

I looked all around for you
But all I saw
Was the shadow of your ghost
On the sunlit shag carpet

Morning time
And you are gone
Its a good thing Ill get to dream of you again
tonight.
