This is my poem

I will rescue you.

If you need me I will come.
I will listen.
and I will take your secret to my grave.

I will do the impossible if you ask.
If you are falling behind I will shoulder your work with my own.
I will not ask for credit.

If you forget something, I will do it for you.
I will not let you suffer for it.

If you hurt me I will not fight back.
I will retreat.
I will bite my tongue.

I have learned to cry in the shower without making a sound.

No one ever rescues me.
