Gonna do it, gonna get it done. Damn, I'm gonna do it. Pretend it's fun. Gonna restring my 12 string with a brand new blend. I figured it out, then chickened out again. Just 12 strings, shiny and new and an imaginary sound that'll ring out true to just what I want. So that's what I'm gonna do. when I get thru watching this game then that, or some pbs special that follows the cat. I swear I'm gonna do it but ... hell, I'm afraid that I'll screw it all up. I mean I'm scared as hell. 12 strings of failure stare into my mind. I'm not scared of spiders or dark or s**t of that kind. But I've got all my tools, new strings to unwind. And I just can't do it.
I want it too much, and anything I want vanishes at my touch. cockeyed.
