When I was 36
Dad's heart suddenly stop beating one day.

He was hospitalized and eventually received a pacemaker.
I wrestled with my feelings the night he almost died.
I had had an overwhelming desire to reach inside my chest and pull out my heart and give it to him.
He deserved it, he loved life like I never could.
