I don't think smoking cigarettes would do that. In fact... I figure smoking cigarettes would be more likely to irritate your airways thus leading to a worse allergic reaction and possibly infection.

Seriously... Probably doctor time...

There might be a kind of antihistamene that you could take... There are nasal sprays (do you get runny nose?) and there are tablets...

How helpful are pharmacists in general where you are? I've found pharmacists to be fairly good for advice.
