Technically, after 72 hours all traces of alcohol are out of your body. The rest of the job is mental. But if your husband is showing redness in the face and acne-like eruptions (spider nevi, maybe ?) he is probably showing the signs of liver disease. He needs to be examined by a competent internist or gastroenterologist.
