Apart from addiction etc, and with a few exceptions like methadone, I think opiates are among the most benign drugs you can take. (But I don't really know much about Tramadol) And if you do want to give it up you will be able to taper off it, I imagine. I've never taken much of it, but it would be like stopping codeine, dihudrocodeine or dextropoxyphene I imagine.

Some people here have been saying that because Tramadol inhibits some seratonin receptor(?) it has some AD action. Do you take heaps of it?
