My family (aunt, mom, sister, cousin)did like an intervention thing with me, talking about where I'm going in life and what I'm doing.
They want me to finish my degree as quickly as possible and switch into a better program if possible. They said I'm getting old now and no employers will hire an old graduate. My aunt said she wouldn't hire me if I were older.
The also want me to be more responsible and independent. I guess now that my sister is home everyone is realizing what a loser I am. My sister is younger than me but just got her degree in biochemistry and she lived away from home for 5 years.
So now I'm going to take 2 classes, biochemistry and plant physiology & biochemistry plus work 22 hours/week. I have to keep working because I don't want to lose my insurance. Meds are expensive.
I'm going to be busy. I hope I can handle it. I have to handle it.
This is scary. I hope I don't end up failing everything.
