I wanted to go to Australia, but I messed up something with the Registar's office, and got depressed for 2 years basically.
Go to Australia. Do not avoid going abroad. They're friendly people, and not once have I ever asked anyone about the country here in the U.S. that said it was not a splendid country worthy of returning to. I also know to Aussies, and wish to move there someday forever and marry one.
How many countries with a 24 hour flight each way can you say about that?
