> i had a nightmare 2 days ago i was in my room, and i ... i can't rerember the story of the dream, but this thing.....if i thought about him in my dream, he would show up, so i was a room in my dream, and i saw this phantom figure, trying to pass through the window, it scared me so bad, i woke up from the same room, there was nothing in the windows obbiously, i mean....when i was a kid i had nightmares, and waking up to reality and seeing what you see everyday is normal, but in a dream reality can be anything.....the emotion of fear can get really intense, terrified in an unconscious state, vunerable......read stories of people seeing shadows figures, moving around.....even writing about makes me paranoid, those taunting things i was afraid of when i was a kid

Strange timing. Just the other night I woke up startled as I heard a noise (dream?) coming from my kitchen. I keep a knife hidden in my bedside table and I thought of getting it out. I really felt terrified! I finally went back to sleep but I realized how less scared I would have been during the day. That half awake state can be frightening.
