I definitely want to drive only if I can do it safely. Especially since what I miss most is picking my son up from school. I don't have that much longer to do it, and it's the only time I have a prayer of having him really talk to me.

But as wonderful as my husband is being, he's tense from all the added work he's having to do. Including having to drive me everywhere and do all the driving of my son, and working from home because he's afraid I'll fall. He gets tense and that makes me tense. He's such a high energy person, and I'm not, and it can be exhausting for both of us. There has been the occasional snapping at each other on both sides.

Fortunately he seems to feel a bit more confident after learning for sure what was wrong. He let me feed the dogs last night even though it involved bending and stooping. As he sees that I don't keel over, maybe he'll be ok with my doing more. And I'll be able to do more with my arm soon, I'm sure. Heavens I want to cook. I don't even dare suggest anything that involves chopping vegetables, and many of my favorite foods involve chopping vegetables. :)
