Came across a vampire novelette I read years ago. Very good.
Carmilla, by Le Fanu. Published in 1872 in a collection of tales called "In a Glass Darkly." Immensely readable despite publication date. Female vampire story that sets the bar for many sensual, lesbian-themed vampire tales to come. A great read. And I don't care for vampire stories. http://amzn.com/1840225521
