Hi Kath,
The skirt & blouse sound fine. The fact that it's straight offsets the fact that it's a bit above the knee. I'd avoid the flared minis-- that just says teenage to me. Regarding the bra, I don't really need one either, but I appreciate the improved shape they provide. I'm also careful to avoid NST at work, but on weekends, not so careful. I find a dark colored shirt also helps camouflage.
