I am in the DC area of Virginia. I came here from SC (where I spent the previous 16 years). Social services in this county are limited since for so many years the area was too affluent to really NEED such services as much. Strangely, I would have had better chances had I remained in SC, but that was not really an option since I had no place to stay. ARRGGHHHH!!! I know that things will change, but that doesn't make this pain in my chest or my anxiety go away!
