Depression can be a good thing sometimes

My daughter (13) loves to cook and so she has been taking over more meals (is very glad and eager) and my DH and her shop for the stuff she needs too.

So far this week I have had won tons and sweet and sour shrimp, pork chops with pecans and honey sauce, plus she made some very yummy cookies. And today I took her to the store so she can try sushi for the first time tonight. I bought her a kit at the bookstore. She is so excited. She is going to start with imitation crap though at first, but I bought her some red caviar for some real fish flavor.
But tomorrow I promised to make a home style baked chicken with mashed potatoes and stuff.
My daughters food tastes just like good restaurants and I don't have to make it myself so it is very nice when I don't feel like even making sandwiches. She amazes me on who she has become.
