Why do other people seem to have it so much easier? There better be some type of payoff: afterlife, karma, or whatever, for undo angst in life!

****I agree about the payoff - I want it too!!!

As to other people, I recently mentioned to Tina on another thread - we can NEVER know what's happening in other people's lives.

Except for the people I've told NOBODY would guess that I have a son who has a cocaine addiction & brain damage at least in part from doing drugs; that sometimes I'd DREADFULLY depressed & would rather not be alive.

I guarantee you that apart from maybe 2 people in the pottery guild who I've told, NOBODY (73 people) would ever guess that I have big issues to deal with. I'm happily married ( which is a real blessing) & we own our home, but MAN oh MAN there's stuff that nobody would know.

We can look at others & think they have it ALL or think they have a darn lot more than we do in our lives. But we don't know if a family member is dying of cancer, or if they have HUGE debts (& that's why they have those clothes, car, house, etc). We don't know what they think when they look at themself in the mirror. Tons of really attractive people actually think they're ugly.

I'm not trying to minimize your feelings, but I think when we're down, or down on a certain part of our life, it is TOO easy to have NO 'reality filter' on how we see others.

I send you love. I'm sorry that you have the intense feelings about the guy & that you feel uncomfortable & "less than" because of them. You're right - it's probably a trigger for you.

((((((you)))))))))) luv, Kath
