My husband's mother was from Queensland -- Toowoomba, to be exact. I'm told that no American will ever pronounce it correctly, though...
Enjoy yourself while you're there. If you stop by Melbourne, visit the Crown Casino -- my ex was involved in that project, and we spent a month there while he was on site.
