Okay so I like my name in the headlines!
Also, I'm ashamed to say I worked as a team player(?) in an office staff once. I was one of the doc's secretaries. I guess we treated the patients like animals instead of human beings. There were patients scheduled on top of patients.
Rush rush rush ... hurd 'em in, head 'em up, move 'em out ... Rawhide! HEAD 'EM UP, MOVE 'EM OUT ... RAWHIDE! (My dad loved that show!)
I will speak w/ my PCP 'the second time' about his peculiar office staff. He liked it when I did before. He looked @ me w/ a smile and queer(isthatstillaword4that?) interest in my peculiar and frank ability to 'sum up' the whole of them. He looked at me like 'I can't help it~~~it's the way we are~~~and it's kinda' fun on our end'. (I wanted to slap him!)
Oh I know ... After the tech does the BP and takes our pulse (As if we're not breathing!), we say 'Oh! Don't forget to take 'MY chart' (w/ a louder voice and a challenging look in our eyes) w/ you. I might see what's wrong with me!'
I think docs' offices should have 'We're All Just People' 'open houses' where they, staff, and patients can socialize. Isn't that pretty much what Dr. Bob did at the conference? We might find out we can't 'make fun' of all of them anymore. But, that'd be alright. We can always find some other person, place, or thing, to stomp on, like ... 'Mr. Bill' .... He even likes it! Maybe Mr. Bill's first name is Mikey!? Mr. Mikey Bill!
What the 'same he*l' is up w/ me? I'm not unhappy?! I'm even ... I can't hardly say it ... ha ... haaaa ... ROFL. I gotta' go pee or something. You guys carry on w/o me. (Like I'm not coming back ... Not!)
Wow ... Am I having an 'ififany' ROFL ... today?! Does anyone else feel 'a whole lot of charge'? There's planetary motion and swear I feel it. I don't know the specifics but willing to bet I'm onto something. I'm checkin' it out on beliefnet. Yeah, I know, I was gonna' leave. Here I go now.
