What is it with MDs anyway?

Posted by finelinebob on September 8, 2006, at 2:00:48

I mean, you go in for ANY kind of check up and they weigh you. And it's like you want to go in next to nekkid because you KNOW how much your clothes weigh, but MDs seem oblivious to this!

Let me state my case:
May visit: 270lbs (wearing Nikes, 501's and a t-shirt)
July visit: 262lbs (wearing sandals, shorts and a t-shirt)
Sept visit: 270lbs (wearing same Nikes, same 501's, not sure about the t-shirt)

And what does he say? "Clothes? about a pound difference."

So much for medicine being an empirical science....
