I have many of the things my son wore when he was a baby still packed away, unable to part with them.
The good news is that older boys clothes aren't really all that individual or particularly memorable, so it gets much easier as they get older.
Annierose is right. Save a few. When he's too old to feel foolish being sentimental, he'll love seeing his stuff and wondering that he was ever that little.
My favorite of his sleepers with the bear face on its bottom is currently being worn by a realistic looking baby doll. Ok. That may be a bit odd of me. But my mother let me use my baby clothes as doll clothes when I was little.
