I talked to someone at a suicide hotline who said she was sending over a social worker just to talk to me at my house. I went outside, and there was an ambulance and some cops out there. I got taken to the ER against my will and released after two hours. They could do nothing for me. Now I'll have a hefty ambulance and ER bill coming my way for nothing - and I have no insurance.
While in the ER, I saw my female neighbor in there covered in blood. When I got home from theh ER (after having to walk through a dangerous neighborhood alone), I saw my neighbor's boyfriend in handcuffs getting hauled away by the cops. (Both my neighbor and her boyfriend are drug users - he just moved in with her and has made vague threats toward me).
I left a message on my alcoholic landlord's voicemail asking her to please make the boyfriend move out.
