I just called up the HR lady to see if there was any word, and she asked me to hold for a minute, and then a man picked up whose name I recognized as one pretty high up in management, and he says he's glad that I called, and that he would like to call me back this afternoon with hopefully some good news! That's how he put it, 'hopefully some good news', so I'm trying not to get to excited until I know for sure. Hopefully the thing they have to do before calling me back isn't calling past jobs, because then they might talk to my old boss who was just pure evil. I'm hoping that they just talk to the HR department when they call there. I know its supposed to be illegal to talk bad about an ex-employee, but I could see her doing it. I'm just too scared to really believe it yet! I don't think I will until I'm actually there, working my first day! Keep your fingers crossed and send good vibes and/or pray that this happens for me!!!
I'm a nervous wreck!
